Why “Dé Lime Tree”?
A lime tree is unglamorous and endlessly useful. It grows slowly, keeps producing for decades, and thrives in our climate. That’s the kind of software we want to build: practical, durable systems that keep paying back long after launch — rooted in Sri Lanka, with branches reaching everywhere.
From the founder
I’m Dinesh Mirpuri. I’ve spent 15 years in the industry — running retail operations, buying from suppliers at home and abroad, managing teams and cash, and building the technology that holds it all together. Dé Lime Tree is what that experience turned into.
When I couldn’t find a system that handled a showroom, warehouses, a Shopify store, delivery apps, suppliers and payroll in one place without fighting Shopify, I built one. It now runs Nesh Kids Store every day, and it became Canopy.
That experience shapes how we work with clients. We ask about your month-end before your colour palette. We care whether your stock count is right on a busy Saturday. We write code that your next developer will thank us for. And we tell you when you don’t need to build something.
